Chocolate stimulates endorphin production in the brain, this is why you often crave chocolate when you are emotionally upset. When you eat a lot of chocolate on a regular basis it can cause a depletion of serotonin and dopamine. A lack of these good brain chemicals creates depression, sleep problems and more food cravings. Mood elevator is a wonderful herbal blend that is very good at helping to enhance the mood, and reduce the cravings for chocolate. It is also wonderful for those who suffer from depression from the lack of daylight during the winter months.

Caffeine Cravings:

If consumed in very small amounts caffeine is stimulating and somewhat beneficial, but most us find that we abuse the use of caffeine using it as a stimulant to push our tried bodies into action. Because caffeine is additive it is easy to find yourself increasing the amount you consume especially during times of stress. Caffeine has many bad effects in high doses, it raises blood sugar, irritates your nervous system, makes you feel tense and in the long run triggers increased appetite. If you are looking to loose weight, you will find a definite advantage if you eliminate or drastically reduce your caffeine consumption. Replace high caffeine drinks with coffee alternatives and herbal teas. It is best to fade off your caffeine slowly, over a period of a couple weeks, while taking supplements to help stop the cravings. The following supplements can help:
