Aromatic Herbs - Stimulating!
  • Aromatic Herbs - Stimulating!
  • Aromatic herbs stimulate and move things.
  • They might move tension, mucus, energy, or what ever needs moving.
  • Aromatic herbs penetrate quickly; they owe their properties mainly to the volatile oils they contain.
  • Aromatic herbs are divided into two sub-categories; Stimulants and Nervines
  • Stimulant aromatics are most often used to stimulate something into action. They will stimulate the circulatory system, respiratory, or the digestive system, if any of these systems are sluggish they will nudge them into action.

Many of these herbs are analgesic (pain relieving), antiseptic (germ killing), and carminative (stimulate digestion).

Examples include:

Capsicum, Catnip, Ginger, Thyme, Garlic, Fennel, Peppermint

HSII (#930-9) - this combination of capsicum, garlic, and hawthorn stimulates the circulatory system, it improves blood flow and strengthens cardiac function. It is used to clean toxins from the blood, normalize blood pressure, and lower cholesterol.

ALJ (#775-9) - This combination of boneset, fennel, fenugreek, horseradish, and mullein stimulates the body to move mucus, allergens, and toxins from the respiratory system. It is commonly used for allergies, asthma, and sinus congestion.
